As a college student, I live in a dormitory and I don’t have much money to spare. I have a laptop that I use for homework and reports, and I rely on it to get my work done nearly every day. I restarted it last weekend, and it wouldn’t reboot. I tried several times, but nothing changed, and I began to get worried. I asked my roommate for help, and he said that I needed to fixmbr. He had just done that with his computer the previous week, so he knew what he was doing. That solved the problem, and I was so relieved that my computer wasn’t ruined!
