Physiology in How to Hypnotize Someone

The way you carry yourself is extremely important, being the way you use your physiology. If I told you that ‘behind curtain number 1, stands a depressed person’, how would you guess that that person looked physically? The chances are that they would be slumped over, arms hanging loosely, eyes down, dull. Whereas if you imagine someone you know who is extremely confident, how does this person carry themselves? What is it in their direct appearance that tells you they are confident? The way in which you carry yourself tells people a lot about how to treat you, so if you act like you are in a position of power and importance, yet pleasant and relaxed, you will come across in the perfect manner to induce hypnosis.
