I fly back and forth across the country almost weekly. It’s not an easy lifestyle, but right now my job seems to demand that I be in one place and my family insists on finishing out the year in another place. The result is that I am always catching new york flights to Los Angeles and back again. Fortunately, the stewards and stewardesses know me pretty well by now. They always try to get me a quiet seat where I can sleep away some of the time if I don’t have a load of work with me. My only consolation is that this will not last forever.
