As kids, many of us liked to collect cards.  Some of us liked to collect sports cards, other liked to collect role-playing cards.  One of the neat things about card collecting is learning the art of trading.  This teaches a lot of skills to people–to know your product and its worth, to learn the art of bartering and negotiation, and to develop a plan for improving your stock.  Whether one trades card within a genre (like trading Magic The Gathering cards) or trading between genres (like trading baseball cards for Pokemon cards), the art of trading is one that takes time and skill.
