I’m just throwing this question out there - I’m interested in your feedback: can you ever plan for your retirement (in terms of finances) too early? I’d argue that you cannot.  In some respects we already (inadvertently) get involved with financial planning for retirement by the kind of career we choose.  After all, our career shapes the future in a big way.  But there’s more to retirement than your retirement fund or the company you work for.  You also need to consider what you want to DO when you retire.  Some people retire from their regular work but start a small business almost as a kind of hobby - which in turn pays their way.  So I’d say it’s never too early to start thinking about retirement.
