Severs Disease and its Common Treatment

Children with the aged of 10-15 years are a subject to have a problem which is known as Severs disease. This condition happens when there is strain in the growing cartilage zone in the back of the heel bone or calcaneus. It is very much common to those children who are physically active and it can get bad enough to interfere with activity levels. It is also more common in those children who play sports on hard surfaces or who sports ground is hard at the start of the winter sports season. The heel is painful to lateral squeezing near the back of the heel. A cushioned heel raise and some calf muscle stretching is the most common treatment.
