By putting you into a ‘trance’ like state, a hypnotherapist can enter your subconscious mind and teach you to think differently about things. For example if you get nervous speaking in front of large groups of people then hypnosis can train your mind that in these situations you are relaxed and comfortable. For those who have a fear of water or trains for example then your therapist can take your mind back to see if this concern stems from an event in your past and if so put that fear to bed.

 

 

 

Also an effective method to stop smoking and quit other bad habits, hypnosis should not be as misunderstood as it is.
