As a cashier at Wal-Mart, I can tell you that without a doubt, our busiest time of the year is around Christmas. With people doing last minute shopping, and trying to get groceries and stuff bought before we close for Christmas day, it can get to be a nightmare! But somehow I always manage to stay polite to our customers, probably because I try to remember that they are as stressed out as I am. It also helps that this year, we all got corporate prepaid gift cards as a thank you for staying through the holidays and working extra shifts.
