My husband got a DUI back in 1999. He did not show up for court and he was found guilty. He only had three beers and was just at the legal limit, not over. Because he did not pay the fines and take the required course, his license was suspended for six months. During the suspension time, he kept driving. He was slapped with an additional fine which e didn’t pay. Over the years it has become the story of our life. Now he has finally payed off the fines and taken the class and is ready to get his license back. He needs to get high risk car insurance so he can get back to driving legally.
